2017年3月20日、前日に続いて、池対岸の木の枝に止まったメスのカワセミ近くにオスが飛んできた。 かなり遠い場所だった、今回は木の枝がカワセミの姿を隠していなかった。
On March 20, 2017, following the day before, the male kingfisher flew near the female perched on the branch of the tree on the other side of the pond. It was a fairly distant place, but this time the tree branches did not hide the kingfisher’s figure.

オスのカワセミはメスの背中の肩に乗った。
The male kingfisher caught on the shoulder of the female’s back.

オスのカワセミは大きく翼を広げた。オスはメスから離れて飛び去った。交尾は成立しなかったように見える。
The male kingfisher spread up its wings. The male flew away apart from the female. Mating does not seem to be established.
