葛西臨海公園のオオジュリン, Common reed bunting of Kasai Rinkai Park.

葛西臨海公園の上の池周辺には広い芳原があるのでヒクイナやクイナが滞在する。写真撮影に来た方からここではオオジュリンも見られると聞いた。 オオジュリンは数羽群れてこの芳原に来るようで、ヒクイナより容易に観察できた。上の池周辺の通路近くでは、2，3メートルの近くからオオジュリンを見られる場合もあった。
Ruddy-breasted crake and Brown-cheeked rail stay here in Kasai Rinkai Park because there is a wide reed bed around the upper pond. The birder here told me that I could see Common reed bunting here. The reed bunting seemed to fly in the reed bed with a flock of several birds, which was easier to see than the Ruddy-breasted crake. In the passage around the upper pond, there a case where I could see the reed bunting from near of about a few meters.

このオオジュリンは頭部が黒いのでオスだ。オオジュリンはヨシの茎を裂いて嘴で餌をつまみだした。餌は小さいので良く見えないが、 昆虫の蛹だろうか。
This reed bunting is male because its head is black. The reed bunting split the stem of the reed and squeezed the food with the beak. The bait is small so I can not see well, but is it an insect pupa?

私が二日続けて撮影に来た理由は、望遠レンズにテレコンバーターをつけると画像は拡大されるがピントの甘い画像になるようだと思ったからだ （AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR + TELECONVERTER TC-17E II）。 テレコンバーターありの前日画像となしのこの日の画像を比較すると確かにその違いを確認できた。
The reason why I came to photograph two day in a row is because I doubted that if I put a teleconverter on the telephoto lens the image would be magnified but could be out of focus slightly (AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR + TELECONVERTER TC-17E II). Comparing the image of this day without teleconverter and that of the previous day with teleconverter certainly confirmed the difference.
