葛西臨海公園のチョウゲンボウ, Common kestrel at Kasai Rinkai Park.

葛西臨海公園では、運が良ければ数種類の猛禽類を見ることができると言う。私はここでこれまでにオオタカ、ノスリ、トビを見た。ヒクイナを見て、もう帰ろうとしていたら上空を1羽の猛禽類が飛び去って行った。姿は小さくなっていたが、それを追うように撮影した。 ちょうと頭部の見える画像があったので、それを見るとチョウゲンボウと分かった。たった数秒間のショーだったが、チョウゲンボウと分かる写真を撮れたので良かった。
It is said that you may see several kinds of birds of prey at Kasai Rinkai Park if you are lucky. I have seen Northern goshawk, Eastern buzzard and Black kite here. When I was about to go back after looking at a Ruddy-breasted crake, a bird of prey flew away in the sky. The figure was getting smaller, but I took photos to follow it. There was an image where the head was visible, and then it turned out to be a Common kestrel. It was a show for only a few seconds, but it was good as I could take pictures that showed the kestrel.
