主に中国北部で繁殖しごく少数が日本に冬鳥として渡来するオオカラモズ, Chinese grey shrike mainly breeding in northern China and very few coming to Japan as winter birds.

前回（3月22日）に続いて2020年3月25日、さいたま市見沼区膝子の農地に飛来したオオカラモズをまた観察した。
On March 25, 2020, following the previous time (March 22), I watched again a Chinese grey shrike that migrated to the farmland in Hizako, Minuma-ku, Saitama City.

畑周辺の野草の枝に止まっていたオオカラモズは獲物を探しに出撃した。オオカラモズは初列風切と地列風切の基部が真っ白であり、黒く長い尾を持つので飛ぶ姿は優雅だ。
