秋ヶ瀬公園のサンコウチョウ（メス）, Japanese paradise flycatcher (female) of Akigase Park
公園の野鳥の森に行くと数人の方が野鳥を探していた。高い木の枝にサンコウチョウのメスがいた。サンコウチョウは飛ぶ昆虫を捕食するので木の枝の間を飛び回る。 この鳥は高い木の木陰にいることが多いので動かなければどこにいるのか分からなかった。
When I went to the wild bird forest of the park several people were looking for a bird. There was a female Japanese paradise flycatcher at a branch of a high tree. The Japanese paradise flycatcher fly around among tree branches as it preys on flying insects. Since this bird is often in the shade of tall trees, I could not notice where it would be unless it moved.
この鳥が木の枝の間を飛び回る行動は面白いが、暗く逆光線状態になることが多いので明瞭な写真を撮ることはとても困難だった。鳥が光の漏れる場所に止まった場合は羽毛の色が見える。
The behavior of this bird flying around branches of trees is interesting, but it was very difficult to take clear pictures as it was often in dark and back light conditions. If the bird perches on the branch where the light leaks, you can see the color of the feather.
