2018年1月21日、葛西臨海公園を散歩した。西側の松林を歩いている時ビンズイの群れに会った。ビンズイは松の落ち葉の上を歩きながら木の実を探しついばんでいた。
On December 29, 2017, I strolled in Kasai Rinkai Park. I met a flock of Olive-backed pipit while walking on the western pine forest. The Olive-backed pipit was picking the nuts while walking on the fallen leaves of the pine.

ビンズイは人慣れしていて近くから撮影できたが、ジョギングする人が近くを通ると木の枝に退避した。「早く通り過ぎてくれないかなあ。」と思案顔。ジョギングする人が遠ざかるとビンズイはまた地上に降りてきた。
The Olive-backed pipit was accustomed to people and I was able to shoot from nearby but the bird took shelter on the branch of the tree when a jogger passed nearby. “I wonder if you will pass by as soon as possible,” thought the bird. As the jogger moves away, the pipit came down to the ground again.
