上空を飛び去ったミサゴを見てから約1時間後、ミサゴが魚めがけてダイブする光景を見ることができた。 その場所は対岸だったのでかなり遠いが、ミサゴが姿が見えなくなる位水に潜り魚を捕まえて飛び上がる姿を確認できた。
About an hour after I saw the Osprey flying over the sky I was able to see the scene where it dived for a fish. The place was the opposite side of the Pond and quite far, but I was able to confirm the action of the Osprey that dived for a fish deeply enough not to be visible and flied up from the water catching a fish.
飛び上がったミサゴは片足に大きい魚を捕まえていた。ミサゴは魚を両足でしっかりつかんで水面近くを飛んで行った。ミサゴが近くを飛んでもコブハクチョウは無関心だ。
The jumped Osprey had a big fish on one foot. The Osprey grasped the fish firmly with both feet and flew near the surface of the water. Even if the Osprey flew near, the Mule swan is nonchalant.
ミサゴは魚を両足でつかんだまま次第に飛ぶ高度を上げた。どこか静かな場所で食事なんだろう。
The Osprey gradually raised the altitude while grasping the fish with both feet. I guess it has a meal in a quiet place somewhere.
