秋ヶ瀬公園のコジュケイ, Chinese bamboo partridge of Akigase Park.

コジュケイが公園の遊歩道に出てきた。いろんな公園でコジュケイの特徴ある鳴き声を良く聞く。でもなかなか姿を見られない。今回偶然散歩道に出てきたコジュケイを見ることができた。コジュケイの鳴き声は、日本語のオノマトペでは「チョットコイ」だ。私は南米のパラグアイでよく似た鳴き声をよく聞いた。現地の方はこの小鳥を「ピットウェ(pitogue)」と呼んでいた（和名: キバラオオタイランチョウ）。これも現地のオノマトペだと思う。聞いた感じでは不思議なほどよく似ている。
A Chinese bamboo partridge came out on the promenade of the park.

I often hear the characteristic call of the Chinese bamboo partridge at various parks. But I can hardly see it. I was able to see the bird which came out on the promenade by a chance this time. The call of the bird is ”Chotto Koi” in Japanese onomatopoeia. I often heard the similar call of a bird in Paraguay. The local people named this bird ”Pitogue” (Great kiskadee). I think that the name ”Pitogue” is also the local onomatopoeia. I feel that these two onomatopoeias are very similar.
