2017年2月15日、水元公園を散歩した。「水元かわせみの里」にはカワセミが自然繁殖できる環境が整備されている。 ここの池には小さい魚が沢山住棲んでいるのでカワセミだけでなくカイツブリの天国でもあるようだ。カイツブリが捕った魚はモツゴのようだ。
