2017年5月8日、船橋市にあるふなばし三番瀬海浜公園に行った。9時10分頃着いたが、既に潮は引いていて広い干潟が現れていた。 潮干狩りをする人々が沢山見えたがシギやチドリの姿は見えなかった。長靴を履いて干潟を歩いていくと遠くにたくさんの海鳥の群れが見えたので、 近づいてみるとシギやチドリの群れだった。その中にたくさんのハマシギがいた。ハマシギの群れが飛んだ。
On May 12, 2016, I visited Funabashi Sanbanze Seaside Park in Funabashi city. I arrived there at about 9:10. The tide already went down and large tidal flats were there. I saw plenty of people claming, but I could not see sandpipers and plovers. As I walked on the tidal flats with my boots in, I could see flocks of seabirds in the distance, so when I went near, they were a group of sandpipers and plovers. Among them, there were lots of Dunlins. The flock of Dunlin started to fly.
ハマシギが群れて飛ぶシーンは壮観だ。別のシギもいる。これはハマシギと似ているが、腹部が白く、 ハマシギとほぼ同じ大きさであることからミユビシギと思われる。ハマシギの群れは位相のそろった波のように空を移動していく。
The scene where the Dunlin flocks and flies is spectacular. There is also another sandpiper. This bird on the back resembles the Dunlin, but it seems to be the Sanderling because the belly is white and the size is almost the same as the Dunlin. A flock of Dunlin moves like an in-phase wave in the sky.
ハマシギの群れが着水した。
