秋ヶ瀬公園のトラツグミ, White’s thrush at Akigase Park.

秋ヶ瀬公園の野鳥園近辺の芝生で2名の方が望遠レンズ付きカメラで一羽の野鳥の写真を撮っていた。静かに近づくと、 1羽のトラツグミが餌を探していた。トラツグミはツグミと似た動作をするが、より低い姿勢で走るように移動するようだ。 この動作はCGで見たティラノサウルスの動きみたいだと思った。
Two people were taking photos of a bird by the camera with telephoto lens at a lawn near the bird sanctuary field of Akigase Park. Approaching quietly I saw a White’s thrush looking for bait. The White’s thrush behaves like the Dusky thrush but seems to move to run in a lower attitude. I thought that this behavior seemed to be the movement of Tyrannosaurus seen in CG.

帰ろうと思って歩いていたらまたトラツグミに会った。最初の所から少し離れた場所で、メタセコイアの落ち葉が地面に沢山落ちている。
I met the White’s thrush again when I was walking thinking about going home. This place was a little far from the first place and there were a lot of fallen leaves of metasequoia.

この公園のトラツグミは人をそれほど恐れないようだ。やや近づいてカメラを向けたらこちらを向いたが逃げることはなかった。
The White’s thrush in this park seems not to be so afraid of people. I approached a little and directed the camera to the thrush but the thrush never escaped.

2018年2月9日、埼玉県営の都市公園である秋ヶ瀬公園を訪問し散策した。この公園は荒川第一調節池内にあり自然保護されているため野鳥が多い。
On February 9, 2018, I visited Akigase Park which is located at the western edge of Saitama City and strolled in it. This park occupies a section of flood plain of the Arakawa River and there are many birds because of the conservation of nature.
トラツグミの鳴き声は日本で伝承される妖怪ヌエを生んだという。
The call of White’s thrush is said to have had imagined Nue, a legendary Japanese yokai.
