フェスティバルは、市民ヴォイド内でステージプログラムと個別ブース出展に分かれて進行されした。千葉県JICAシニアボランティアの会は、「出展のみ」で参加しました。参加団体は全部で14団体でした。
The festival was divided into stage programs and individual booth exhibitions within Citizen Void. The Chiba JICA Senior Volunteers Association participated as an “exhibitor only”. There were a total of 14 participating organizations.
開会式は、開会の歌「小さな世界」を全員で合唱して始まりました。開会式に続いてステージでは、8団体によるパフォーマンスが披露されました。
The opening ceremony began with everyone singing the opening song, “It’s a Small World.” Following the opening ceremony, eight groups performed on stage.
当会は、JICAから派遣されて開発途上国で行った活動の写真パネルの展示と、国際クイズを行いました。クイズの正解者には、当会の会員が派遣国で入手したお土産品などをプレゼントしました。
Our association displayed photo panels of activities dispatched by JICA to developing countries and held an international quiz. Those who answered the quiz correctly were presented with souvenirs obtained by our members in the countries they were sent to.
「JICA海外協力隊への応募を考えているが専門資格など必要か？」といった具体的な質問も数名の方々から受けたので丁寧に説明しました。午後3時20分頃、閉会式を迎え、お別れの歌を歌い終了しました。
We received specific questions from several people, such as “I an thinking of applying to the JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, and do I need any specialized qualifications?” so we provided detailed explanations. At around 3:20 p.m., the closing ceremony was held, and the event ended with a farewell song.
