中秋の名月, The Harvest Moon

満月前日の中秋の名月, The harvest moon on the day before the full moon

家のベランダから中秋の名月が見えたので写真を撮った(Sep 17, 2024)。今年は翌日満月なので月の左側が少し暗い。ベランダの手すりを利用した手持ち撮影です。このカメラと望遠レンズの組み合わせ(D850 + AF-S NIKKOR 500mm)はバードウォッチングに適するので最も良く使っています。重くって老骨に堪えるけどね(2.5kg)。

I took a picture of the harvest moon from the balcony of my house (Sep 17, 2024). This year, the moon is a full moon the next day, so the left side of the moon is a little dark. I took this photo handheld using the balcony railing. This camera and telephoto lens combination (D850 + AF-S NIKKOR 500mm) is perfect for bird watching, so I use it the most. It’s heavy, though, and a little hard on my old bones (2.5kg).
