月と土星が大接近, The Moon and Saturn Approaching Close Together
2024年11月から12月にかけて、月と土星が接近して見える。2024年12月8日には土星が月に隠される土星食が起こった。2024年11月11日、晴れていたので月と土星の写真を撮って見た。月は大きく見えるので500mmの望遠レンズを使えば鮮明に写る。土星を写真に撮るとどのように見えるだろう？同じ望遠レンズで撮影してみた。写真を拡大し、明るさを調整したら土星の環も確認できた。なるほど、空気が澄んでいて、白飛びにならない程度にカメラを設定すればもう少し良い画像になるかもしれない。ガリレオ・ガリレイが1610年に自作の望遠鏡を用いて土星を観測し、その不思議な形に驚き困惑した心境が分かるような気がした。
From November to December 2024, the moon and Saturn will appear close together. On December 8, 2024, a Saturn eclipse occurred in which Saturn was hidden by the moon. On November 11, 2024, it was clear, so I took a picture of the moon and Saturn. The moon looks large, so if you use a 500mm telephoto lens, it will be clear. What will Saturn look like when you take a picture of it? I tried taking a picture with the same telephoto lens. I enlarged the photo and adjusted the brightness, and I could see Saturn’s rings. I see, if the air is clear and the camera is set so that it doesn’t get overexposed, the image might be a little better. I was able to take a picture of Saturn’s rings for the first time. I felt like I could understand the feelings of Galileo Galilei when he observed Saturn through a telescope he had built himself in 1610 and was astonished and confused by its strange shape.
