札幌から柏市に引っ越したとき持ってきた古い置時計が見つかった。電池の液漏れで電池を抑えるスプリングが腐食して折れていた。この時計のデザインは、円と正方形から構成されている。バウハウスデザインと言える。私はこのデザインが気に入っていた。腐食部分を掃除して、スプリングをはんだで電極に付けてみた。電池を入れると動き出した。私のPC机の上でデジタル時計と並べて使おう。私のPC机には趣味のオーディオ機器（手作りのプリアンプとメインアンプなど）が並んでいます。
I found an old table clock that I brought with me when I moved from Sapporo to Kashiwa City. The spring that holds the battery in place had corroded and broken due to battery fluid leakage. The design of this watch is made up of circles and squares. It can be called Bauhaus design. I liked this design. I cleaned up the corroded part and soldered the spring to the electrode. When I put the batteries in, it started working. I’ll use it on my PC desk next to the digital clock. My hobby audio equipment (homemade preamplifier and main amplifier, etc.) is lined up on my PC desk.
