冬だけど、この日は温かかった。柏の葉第2水辺公園を散歩したら、キタテハ3頭に出会った。キタテハは飛んでは温かいコンクリートの上にしばらく休んだ。キタテハは成虫で越冬する。左の写真のキタテハの翅は随分傷んでいる。

Although it was winter, it was warm on this day. When I took a walk in Kashiwa-no-ha 2nd Waterside Park, I came across three Asian commas. The butterfly flew away and rested for a while on the warm concrete. The Asian comma overwinters as an adult. The wing of the butterfly in the photo on the left is quite damaged.
