ヘラサギ属の中で唯一の絶滅危惧種クロツラヘラサギ, The black-faced spoonbill, being the only one of all spoonbills regarded as endangered.
2019年3月5日の午後、クロツラヘラサギは葛西海浜公園の東なぎさ近くの杭の上で休んでいた。 この日には餌を取っている姿を見ることはできなかった、残念。この公園の東なぎさは孤島なので入園者は近寄れない。葛西渚橋で渡れる西なぎさから望遠鏡で観察することになる。 そのため野鳥にとっては住みやすい場所のようだ。
On the afternoon of March 5, 2019, a Black-faced spoonbill was resting on a pile near East Beach of Kasai Marine Park. I could not see the feeding scene of it unfortunately. East Beach of this park is an isolated island so visitors can not approach. We have to observe there with a telescope from West Beach that can be crossed by Nagisa Bridge. It seems to be a nice place for wild birds.
2019年3月5日、クロツラヘラサギを探して西なぎさに行った。12時半頃行った時は約50人の探鳥会グループに会ったが見つけられなかった。 14時半頃行ったが誰もバーダーはいない。カメラの望遠レンズで東なぎさを見るとサギが数羽いた。その中の1羽だけ嘴が 黒いスプーン状に見えた。クロツラヘラサギが鉄の杭の上で休んでいた。1時間位見ていたが、隣にウが止まっても動きもしなかった。
私は南米の パラグアイでベニヘラサギが餌を探す様子を見たことがある。進化とは面白いものだ。
On March 5, 2019, I went to West Beach looking for the Black-faced spoonbill. When I went there around 12:30, I met about 50 members of birders, but I could not find the spoonbill. Again, I went there around 14:30, but no birders were there. When I saw East Beach with my camera telephoto lens, there were several herons. The bill of only one of them looked like a black spoon. A Black-faced spoonbill was resting on an iron pile. I was watching for about an hour, but the spoon bill did not move even though a cormorant stopped next to it.
I have seen a Roseate spoonbill having bait in Paraguay, South America. It is interesting with the evolution.
