アパートの中庭で時々見かけるようになったツグミ科のイソヒヨドリ, Blue rock thrush, sometimes seen in the courtyard of the apartment.
2016年8月14日、孫一家を見送りに行って帰った時、アパートの中庭に黒っぽい小鳥がいた。この鳥はツグミ科のイソヒヨドリのようだ。 この鳥はアフリカとユーラシア大陸に広く分布すると言う。
When we saw the grandchildren family off on August 14 2016 and returned, I saw a blackish small bird in the courtyard of the apartment. This bird will be Blue rock thrush which is said to distribute over Africa and the Eurasian Continent widely.

イソヒヨドリは主に海岸周辺に生息するが、近年、都市部にも生息するようになり住宅地でも見かけると言う。草むらで昆虫や小動物を捕食している ようだ。見ていると目の前の柵のロープに飛んできて止まった。この小鳥はまだ若鳥のように見え、頭部が暗青色であるオスの特徴はない。
It is said that the blue rock thrush lives mainly around the shore but recently lives the urban area and is seen in the residential area. It seems to prey on insects and small animals at the grass. When I was looking at it, it flew on the rope of the fence in front of me. This bird looks like a young bird yet, and there is not the male characteristic that the head is dark blue.

別のカメラを持ってくると、イソヒヨドリは木の枝に止まっていた。木陰にいるので直射日光下にいた時より淡い色に見える。
The blue rock thrush was sitting on the branch of the tree when I brought another camera. The color of the bird is seen lighter than before under the direct sun light because the bird was in the shade of the tree.
