本のデジタルアーカイブ作業で読み直した本がいくつもある。専門分野で言えばLeo Mandelkern著の「高分子の結晶化」、相変化の動力学の数学的取扱いを取り扱った本である。この理論を読み返して、日本でのCOVID-19の感染波解析を試みた。アブラミ(or JMAK)理論は、核生成とその成長という明快なモデルに基づいた一つの方程式で構成されるので、最小二乗法を適用しやすい。その結果、通常のSIR モデルに比べ高い精度で検出値を近似できる。COVID-19感染波を解析した私のe-printが3編arXivとEurope PMC plusに登録されたので関心のある方はダウンロードして読んでください。
There are many books that I have reread in the digital archiving of books. In my field of expertise, it is “Crystallization of Polymers” by Leo Mandelkern, a book that deals with the mathematical treatment of dynamic phase transition. I reread this theory and tried to analyze the COVID-19 infection wave in Japan. The Abrami (or JMAK) theory consists of one equation based on a clear model of nucleation and its growth, so it is easy to apply the least squares method. As a result, it is possible to approximate the detection value with higher accuracy than the usual SIR model.
