次に挙げるのは、手塚治虫のマンガだ。ここでは、「火の鳥」、「きりひと賛歌」、「アドルフに告ぐ」だけを紹介する。「火の鳥」には古代日本から遠い未来に至るまで、手塚の思い浮かべる人間社会が描かれている。古代日本は「古事記」に記載がある。戦前には、この記述が日本の歴史として教育された。物語は事実とは異なる。当時の支配者に対するタブーにこだわらない描き方がよい。未来はスーパーコンピュータに管理される社会が描かれている。現在、AIの過大視によって現にそのような社会が垣間見えている。

Here, we will only introduce “Phoenix,” “A Hymn to Kirihito,” and “A duel to Adolf.” “Phoenix” depicts human society as envisioned by Tezuka, from ancient Japan to the distant future. Ancient Japan is described in the “Kojiki.” Before the war, this description was taught as the history of Japan. The story is different from the facts. It is well-written, without being obsessed with the taboos against the rulers of the time. The future depicts a society that is controlled by supercomputers. Today, we are already getting a glimpse of such a society due to the overestimation of AI.
