2017年4月4日、柏の葉公園を散歩した。公園の「郷土の森」の草原でアトリのオスとメスの小グループ（5，6羽）が餌をとっていた。 頭部が褐色なこのアトリはメスだろう。
On April 4, 2017, I strolled in Kashiwanoha Park. A small group (5 – 6) of male and female Brambling was feeding in the local forest grass field of the park. This brambling with brown head will be a female.
ここでは何の種子を食べているのだろう？ ヤマボウシの木が数本あるのでその実の種が残っているのかもしれない。アトリは木の実の種をくちばしで割って中身を食べているようだ。
What seeds are they eating here? There may be some seeds of the fruit because there are several Cornus kousa trees. The Brambling seems to eat the content of the seed by cracking it by the bill.
オスは目の位置が分からないほど頭部全体が黒っぽい。昨年も（2016年4月8日） この公園でアトリの群れを見たが、そこは公園池の土手にある雑木林の中だった。
The whole head of the male is so blackish that the position of eye is almost invisible. Last year (April 8, 2016) I also saw a group of brambling in this park, but it was in a mixed forest in the bank of the park pond.
