ムラシキシキブ The Japanese beautyberry
こんぶくろ池自然博物公園の林にはムラシキシキブが自生している。ムラシキシキブが紫色の小さい（直径3mm）実を沢山つけていた (Nov. 4, 2023)。あまり目立たないので注意して見ないと気付かなかった。コムラサキと違い実の付き方がまばらだ。
The Japanese beautyberry (Callicarpa japonica) grows naturally in the forest of Konbukuroike Natural Museum Park. It had many small purple fruits (3 mm in diameter, Nov. 4, 2023). It’s not very noticeable, so I didn’t notice it unless I looked carefully. Unlike Callicarpa dichotoma, the fruit is sparse.
