腹部に赤っぽい横帯があり、虹のようだ。インターネットで検索すると、ツマアカセイボウやムツバセイボウの写真があり良く似ている。 腹部の先端が見える写真も撮れていた。腹部の先端は赤っぽくなく、3つの歯のような突起が見える。反対側は見えないがおそらく6つのこのような 歯状突起があるらしい。それなら、ムツバセイボウだろう。ムツバセイボウはヤマトフタスジスズバチ（Discoelius japonicus） に寄生する、 と説明があった。

2020年10月21日、水元公園で探鳥してマヒワ、キビタキのオスとメス、ヤマガラなどの写真を撮った。昼の12時近くなるので帰ろうと思って歩いて 引き返した。途中、水生植物園近くでカメラを構えている人を2，3人見た。近寄ると、一人の方が、指をさした。「くいのところ」と言う。 鳥がいるとばかり思っていたので、「クイナ？」と聞き返した。その人は苦笑いをした。「ハチ、大変珍しいハチです。10年位ここに通っているんですが 初めて見ました、ハチに寄生するハチらしいです。」「ハチですか！」とようやく分かって注意して見ると、ようやくとても小さい（約10mm） ハチが木の柵の上を素早く動き回っているのに気付いた。
小さいので肉眼では色が分からなかったが、写真を撮ってみると、体が青い金属光沢で光って見える、腹部は虹色のようにきれいだ。 なるほど、こんなハチは初めて見た。
