例年、柏の葉公園では多くのツグミを見るが、今年はすくないようだ。ツグミは夏季にシベリア中部や南部で繁殖し、 冬季になると中国南部などへ南下し越冬する。日本には冬季に越冬のため飛来（冬鳥）する。新大陸にもツグミ科の小鳥は多く生息する。
In an average year, I see many thrushes in Kashiwanoha Park, but they seem to be few in this year. This species is strongly migratory, breeding in the Siberia central and southern parts in the summer,? wintering south to southeast Asia, principally in China and neighboring countries. It flies to Japan for wintering in the winter season (winter bird). A lot of birds in Turdidae family live also in the New World.
