2017年1月18日、柏の葉公園を散歩した。第2水辺公園の池にはたくさんのカモがいた。その中にオス2羽とメス2羽のヨシガモのグループがいた。 この池は小さいためか、カルガモ、マガモ、オナガガモ以外のカモをあまり見かけない。
On January 18, 2017, there were many ducks in the pond of the second Kashiwanoha waterside park. I saw a group of Falcated ducks of two males and two females. I do not see ducks other than Spot-billed duck, Mallard and Northern pintail very much probably because the pond is small.
ヨシガモのオスとメスが休んでいる近くにコガモのオスとメスが近寄ってきた。2種類のカモの大きさの違いが分かる。 それにしても、ヨシガモのオスはどうしてこんなに緑輝く頭部をもっているんだろう？
Male and female Eurasian teals approached near the male and female Falcated ducks. Difference in size of the two kinds of ducks is visible. Even so, why does the male Falcated duck have a head that shines green like this?
