2025年正月の家族オンライン顔合わせ, New Year’s 2025 family online meeting
2025年1月1日、私達家族にとって穏やかに明けました。前年の10月末に茂原市に引っ越したので生活環境が整いませんでした。ようやく普通の生活ができるようになりました。
January 1, 2025, dawned peacefully for our family. We had moved to Mobara City at the end of October the previous year, so our living environment was not settling. We are finally able to live a normal life.
新年の1月1日、いすみ市に住む娘が訪ねて来てくれました。夕方、私達は3人の子供とオンライン顔合わせをしました。
「Zoomの設定をお姉ちゃんがやってくれた。スマホでミーティングにはいるよ。」
お姉ちゃんこと長女は大阪府に住んでいる。次女はいすみ市に住んでいる。次女の弟は栃木県に住んでいる。それぞれの住んでいる場所は、簡単に全員あつまれる距離ではないので、正月にはオンライン顔合わせをしています。私はNote PCに大きいディスプレイを外付けして使っていて、スマホは殆ど使いません。でも子供たちはスマホの達人なのでZoomミーティングも子供達に任せています。小学生前後の孫たちはえらくにぎやかで、大笑いでした。ついには、うるさくって他の会話が聞こえないのでミュートにされてしまいました。それでも大写しの顔なんかが飛び込んできます。初笑い、良かったね。
On January 1st of the new year, my daughter who lives in Isumi City came to visit us. In the evening, we had an online meeting with our three children.
“My older sister set up Zoom for us. We’ll join the meeting on my smartphone.”
My older sister, the eldest daughter, lives in Osaka Prefecture. My second daughter lives in Isumi City. Her younger brother lives in Tochigi Prefecture. Since they don’t live close enough to get together, we have an online meeting during the New Year holidays. I use a large external display on my Note PC and hardly use my smartphone. But my kids are experts on smartphones, so I leave the Zoom meetings to them. My grandchildren, who are around elementary school age, were very lively and laughed a lot. In the end, they were muted because it was too noisy to hear other conversations. But still, we could see their faces in close-up. It was a good first laugh.
