柏の葉公園の昆虫にさよなら, Farewell to the insects of Kashiwanoha Park

10月半ばともなると昆虫をあまり見かけなくなる。それでもイチモンジセセリが枯れかけた木の葉の上で休憩している。近くにイトトンボも休憩していた。なんとなく寂しい雰囲気が漂う。

By mid-October, you won’t see many insects. But still, a Straight Swift was resting on a withered tree leaf. A damselfly (Ischnura senegalensis) was also resting nearby. There was a somewhat lonely atmosphere.
