交差点に接する遊水地が改修されコンクリート製になった。しばらくすると水草が生えてきた。小川の水は流れ込まないのに、いつの間にか魚も住むようになったようだ。シロサギが来て魚を捕る光景が見られるようになった。このシロサギの種類は何だろう？足の指が黒いのでコサギではない。嘴は黄色で先端だけ黒い。口角の切れ込みが眼より後ろまで食い込んでいるように見える。夏羽になる途中のダイサギらしい。
