冬には目立たないが、春になるとその美しい歌声で日本人に親しまれるウグイス, Japanese bush warbler, being inconspicuous in the winter but loved by Japanese with its beautiful singing voice in the spring.

2020年3月1日、水元公園の森の遊歩道を歩いていると、道横の藪の中から突然ウグイスが出てきた。ウグイスは餌を探しながら移動し雑木林の中に姿を消した。こんなに近くにウグイスが現れて驚いた。
While walking along the promenade in the forest at Mizumoto Park on March 1, 2020, a Japanese bush warbler suddenly came out of the bush beside the road. The warbler moved looking for food and disappeared into the grove. I was surprised to see the warbler appear so close.
