秋ヶ瀬公園のヒレンジャク, Japanese waxwing of Akigase Park

2回目の秋ヶ瀬公園訪問でヒレンジャクを約10分間見ることができた。野鳥園で待っているとヒレンジャクが現れ、メタセコイアの梢に止まった。ヒレンジャクはしばらく高いメタセコイアの梢に止まっていたが、飛んで近くのヤドリギに降りた。ヒレンジャクは嘴で丸いヤドリギの実をつまんだ。
I was able to see the Japanese waxwings for about 10 minutes at the second visit to Akigase Park. When I was waiting in the wild-bird garden the Japanese waxwing appeared and perched on the metasequoia top. The Japanese waxwing stuck in the Metasequoia top for a while, but flew down to the nearby mistletoe. The Japanese waxwing picked a round fruit of the mistletoe with the beak.

ヤドリギの実を食べたヒレンジャクは木の枝でしばらく休んでいた。ヒレンジャクは3羽いた。ヤドリギの実を食べて休憩していたヒレンジャクは飛び去った。
After eating the fruit, the Japanese waxwing was resting for a while on a tree branch.

There were three Japanese waxwings. The birds that had eaten mistletoe fruit and was taking a break blew away.
