住宅街の空き地にコチドリ, Little ringed plover at a vacant lot in a residential area
2021年4月3日、こんぶくろ自然博物公園近くの空き地でヒバリのさえずりを聞いたが見つけられなかった。空き地を注意して見ていたら、 遠くに1羽の小鳥を見つけた。ヒバリかと思ったがほとんど動かない。歩道に沿って近づくと、その小鳥はコチドリと分かった。 黄色いアイリングがとても目立つ。なぜこんな場所にチドリがいるんだろう？
On April 3, 2021, I heard a lark singing in a vacant lot near Konbukuro Natural History Park, but I couldn’t find it. When I was watching the vacant lot carefully, I found a small bird in the distance. I thought it was a lark, but it didn’t move much. As I approached along the sidewalk, the little bird was found to be a Little ringed plover. The yellow eye ring is very noticeable. Why is the plover in such a place.
昨年の2020年4月15日、散歩から帰る時、交差点にある調整池の水辺でコチドリをみた。ほとんど同じ時期だ。 暖かくなってきたので南方から移動する途中で立ち寄ったのだろう。
On April 15, 2020, when I returned from a walk, I saw a Little ringed plover at the waterside of a regulating reservoir at an intersection. It’s almost the same time. It’s getting warmer, so I think it stopped by on the way from the south.
