トレニアから吸蜜するホシホウジャク
柏の葉公園に作られた花壇に植えられたトレニアが沢山花をつけている。ラッパ状の花には蜜があるようだ。ホシホウジャクが飛び回って吸蜜している (Oct. 12, 2023)。近づくことが出来たので吸蜜しているホシホウジャクを鮮明に写真撮影できた。ホシホウジャクの偽瞳孔は本当の大きい瞳孔のように見える。
Many Torenia plants are blooming in the flower beds created in Kashiwanoha Park. The trumpet-shaped flowers seem to contain nectar. A hawk moth is flying around and sucking honey (Oct. 12, 2023). Since I was able to get close, I was able to take a clear photo of the hawk moth sucking honey. The pseudopupil of the hawk moth looks like a real pupil.
