2016年5月23日、我孫子市にある手賀沼公園を散歩した。公園の遊歩道を歩いていると、トビが上空高く滑空しているのに気付いた。 トビを見るのは久しぶりだった。私は田舎育ちなので、子供の頃、トビが「ピーヒョロロロロ…」と鳴きながら輪を描いて飛ぶ光景や、 カラス集団に追われる光景をよく見た。トビはタカ科に属するが、猛禽類らしくない親しみ深い鳥だ。
On April 30, 2016, I strolled in Tega-Pond Park in Abiko city. When I was walking the promenade of the park I noticed a Black kite soaring high in the sky. Because I was brought up in the country, I used to see the black kite soaring and gliding in thermals calling like “Peee hyorororoo…” and other scene that the black kite was chased by a flock of crows when I was a child. The black kite does not seem to be Raptors even though it belongs to the hawk family.
約1時間半後、もう帰るつもりで公園の遊歩道を歩いていると、また上空にトビが現れた。 最初見たときより近い距離だったのでより鮮明な写真を撮れた。
The black kite appeared in the sky again when I intended to come back and was walking the promenade of the park about one and a half hours later. I was able to take clearer photos than the previous ones because the bird was closer. ?
トビは突然急降下した。餌を見つけたためと思われるが、飛び上がったときは何もつかんでいなかった。
The black kite made nose dive suddenly. The black kite seemed to find the bait but caught nothing when it flew up.
トビの羽毛の色は濃いこげ茶色なので写真の明るさを調整する必要があるが、かなり近い上空を飛んでいたので表情も分かる。 私は南米のパラグアイでタニシトビを見た。いろんな特徴が似ていると思う。
The black kite flew comparatively close and it is possible to see the appearance of the head, though it is necessary to regulate the brightness of the photo because the color of the feather is thick dark brown. I saw Snail kite in Paraguay of South America. I think that they resemble each other in many features.
トビは私の真上を飛んで行った。写真を見るとその時、私を見ていることが分かる。 この日、「ピーヒョロロロロ…」という鳴き声は聞けなかった。
The black kite flew in right above me. I see by the photo that the bird looked at me then. I did not listen to the call like “Peee hyorororoo…” this day.
