木星が月の近くに見え、木星の衛星も見えた, Jupiter was seen close to the moon, and Jupiter’s moons were also visible.
真夜中の天体ショー、家のベランダから半月の近くに木星が見えたので写真を撮った(Sep 25, 2024)。月と木星は明るいので肉眼ではっきり見える。でも普通に写真を撮っても拡大しないと木星は見えません。
そこで、望遠レンズで月と木星の写真を撮って見た。半月が明瞭に写っている。木星も明るく写っている。木星の近くに4つの小さい星も写っている。木星のガリレオ衛星もこんなにはっきり写真に写るとは思っていなかった。木星の近くからイオ、エウロパ、ガニメデ、カリストだが、公転しているので写真の距離の順ではない。
A midnight celestial show, I saw Jupiter near the half moon from the balcony of my house, so I took a picture (Sep 25, 2024). The moon and Jupiter are bright, so they are clearly visible with the naked eye. However, even if you take a normal photo, you cannot see Jupiter unless you enlarge it.
So I took a picture of the moon and Jupiter with a telephoto lens. The half moon is clearly visible. Jupiter is also bright. Four small stars are also visible near Jupiter. I didn’t expect Jupiter’s Galilean moons to be so clearly visible in the photo. From the closest to Jupiter, they are Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto, but since they are orbiting, they are not in the order of distance in the photo.
