2026年1月1日、茂原公園を散歩した。茂原公園には池、遊歩道、林に囲まれた小高い丘陵がある。丘陵の高い場所は展望台になっていて、ほぼ360度茂原市街を展望できる。ただ、全体が広くないためか野鳥の姿を見ることはほとんどない。野鳥の餌になる実をつける樹木が少ないのも野鳥が少ない理由かもしれない。
On January 1, 2026, I took a walk in Mobara Park. Mobara Park has a pond, a walking path, and a small hill surrounded by forest. The highest point on the hill is an observation deck, offering an almost 360-degree view of Mobara city. However, perhaps because the park is not large overall, it is rare to see any wild birds. One reason for the lack of wild birds may be the lack of trees that bear fruit, which wild birds feed on.
