While I was walking on Mizumoto Park on March 6, 2020, I saw a Northern goshawk flying over the park ground. Northern goshawk is a skillful hunter used for hunting from ancient times in Japan.
この日は天気は良いが風がやや強かった。オオタカは風に乗ってゆったりと円弧を描きながら飛び去った。
On this day the weather was fine but the wind was rather strong. The goshawk flew away in a gentle arc in the wind.
オオタカはハイタカ属のなかでユーラシアと北アメリカ両地域に生息する唯一の種である。
