2020年4月15日、こんぶくろ池自然博物公園のふじ池にハシビロガモがいた。ここは最近整備された公園だが、池は小さいのでカモもあまり見られない。前々日、強風が吹いたので、 カモは移動の途中で一時退避したのかな？
On April 15, 2020, there was a Northern shoveler at Fuji Pond in Konbukuro-Pond Natural History Park. 私は、ハシビロガモが水を濾して餌を捕る動作を時々見た。今回、ハシビロガモはマガモと同じように水に潜って餌を捕ることも 見ることができた。
I sometimes see that the Northern shoveler feed by using the bill to strain food from the water. This time I saw that the shoveler also took feed by diving into water similarly to Mallard.
