子供のころの遊び相手だったノコギリクワガタ, A stag beetle, I used to play with when I was a child.
薄暗い自然林のクヌギの樹液に昆虫が集まっていた。ノコギリクワガタのオスがいた。クワガタムシは夜行性なので明るくなると樹上から姿を消す。 子供の頃、近くの木の洞にクワガタムシがいたことを思い出す。ミヤマクワガタ、ノコギリクワガタ、ヒラクワガタを見た。 クワガタムシはカブトムシ以上に興味深かった。
The sap of the oak in the gloomy natural forest attracted insects. There was a male stag beetle. The stag beetle disappears from the tree in the daytime because it is nocturnal.
そうか、ノコギリクワガタのメスがクヌギの樹液にいるので、オスもやってきたのか。

同じクヌギの樹液にオオスズメバチもいた。1頭がもう1頭に口移しに樹液を与えている。片方は女王になる個体なのかな？ 体の大きさは殆ど同じに見えるけど。
There was also a giant hornet on the sap of the same oak. One is feeding the other with sap by mouth. Is one an individual that becomes a queen? Although the size of the body looks almost the same.
