2018年12月25日、我孫子市にある手賀沼公園を散歩した。手賀沼自然ふれあい緑道を歩いていると、木の枝に2羽の小鳥が飛び移った。
On December 21, 2018, I took a walk in Tega-Pond Park in Abiko City. When I was walking along the green promenade of the park, two birds flew and perched on the tree branches.
ホオジロかと思ったが腹部が白いのでカシラダカのようだ。2羽のカシラダカは2，3分間木の枝に止まっていたがやがて飛び去った。
I wondered they were Meadow buntings, but each belly was white, so they would be Rustic buntings. The Rustic bunting was perched on the branches for a couple of minutes, but eventually flew away.
約1時間後に芳原の中で休んでいるカシラダカを見つけた。
I found a Rustic bunting again resting in a reed bed about one hour later.

スカンジナビア半島からカムチャッカ半島までのユーラシア大陸高緯度地域と、アリューシャン列島で繁殖し、冬季は中国東部に渡り越冬する。また、中央アジアに渡る個体もある。日本では冬鳥として、九州以北に渡来する。
