コミミズクにとってノスリは人間より厄介者, Japanese buzzards are annoying for Short-eared owls than humans.
2020年1月14日、午後1時半ごろ現地に着くと、田の地面すれすれにノスリが飛んでいた。そして、もうコミミズクも飛んでいた。コミミズクは上空を飛んでいたがまもなく田に降りてきた。ここでコミミズクは杭に止まっていたノスリと鉢合わせをした。その直後、コミミズクはノスリを避けて上空に飛び去った。この15分後、田の中で休んでいるコミミズクを見た。
On January 14, 2020, when I arrived at about 1:30 pm, I saw a buzzard flying over the rice field. And the short-eared owl was already flying. The short-eared owl was flying above the sky but soon came down to the rice field. Here, the owl came upon the buzzard that was perching on a stake. Immediately after, the owl flew away from the buzzard. 15 minutes later, I saw the owl resting in the rice field.
一人の撮影者が、「コミミズクはノスリと争った後、田の中で休んでいる、興奮しているので羽角が立っている。」と教えてくれた。コミミズクはここにかなり長くとどまっていた。
A photographer told me, “The Owl is resting in the fields after fighting with buzzards, and the ear-tufts are stretching because it is excited.” The owl was here for quite some time.
