天気は霧雨模様で時々小雨が降りました。ガイドによれば、ここは熱帯雨林なのでこれが普通の天気だそうです。 私達は用意した長靴を履いてツアーに臨みました。傘をさしてカメラのレンズに水滴が付かないように心がけました。 カメラの画像処理技術のおかげで、肉眼で見るより明瞭な写真になっています。ここは貴重な生物保護区だと思いました。
The weather was misty with sometimes light rain. According to the guide, this is the rainforest and this kind of weather is normal. We have come upon the tour wearing the boots that we brought. I kept in mind as water droplets do not adhere to the lens of the camera by using umbrella. Thanks to the camera image processing technology, the photos are clear image than seen with the naked eyes. I thought this place is the valuable biological reserve.
ガイドが遠くの木の梢に1羽の中型の小鳥が止まっていると教えてくれました。小雨模様でしかも遠いのですが写真を撮ってみました。
The guide taught us that there was a medium-sized bird perched on the treetop of a far tree.
I tried to take photos though it was far and also in light rain condition.

写真を拡大して見ると顔の部分が黒っぽく、目の周りと嘴の根元が赤っぽく、胸が白っぽい色をしていることがかろうじて分かります。
肉眼ではとても分かりません。この特徴からハグロドリ属の小鳥と分かります。
Seeing an enlarged photo, I can see barely that the face is dark, around the eyes and the base of the bill is reddish
and chest is whitish color. It is totally invisible by the naked eye. This kind of feature suggests the bird to be in Tityra.
