パラグアイ国ルケ市ニュワス公園のオオハシアジサシ（Large-billed tern seen in Ñu guazu Park, Paraguay）

２015年6月20日、曇り時々晴れ。いつものようにニュワス公園を5kmのジョギングコースに沿って散歩した。途中、二つある池の小さいほうの池の近くに行ったらここにもカイツブリが1羽いた。水に潜って漁をしていたが魚を捕った。魚をくわえたカイツブリが上方を見たかと思うと急に激しい勢いで潜水した。このような潜水はこれまで見たことが無い。カメラから目を離すと、別の鳥が上空に飛来しているのが見えた。アジサシの姿をしている。初めて見る鳥だ。アジサシは池の上空を旋回していたが、魚を捕ることも無く約5分後に飛び去った。
On June 20, 2015, it was cloudy and sometimes fine. I strolled in Ñu Guazu Park as usual along the jogging course of 5km. On the way, I went near a smaller pond of the two, and there was a grebe also here. The grebe was diving in water and fishing, then caught a fish. When the grebe looked at above it suddenly dived by intense force. I have not watched such diving of grebe until now. When I took my eyes off the camera, I saw a different bird flying in the sky. The bird looks like a tern. It is a bird to see for the first time for me. The tern was flying over the pond round and round, but flew away without catching a fish about five minutes later.

魚をくわえたカイツブリが上方を見たかと思うと急に激しい勢いで潜水した。このような潜水はこれまで見たことが無い。カメラから目を離すと、別の鳥が上空に飛来しているのが見えた。
