2018年12月21日、我孫子市にある手賀沼公園を散歩した。手賀沼自然ふれあい緑道を歩いていると大砲レンズを沼に向けている方を見かけた。たずねるとツルシギがいると言う。
On December 21, 2018, I took a walk in Tega-Pond Park in Abiko City. When I was walking along the green promenade of the park, I saw a person who was focusing a cannon lens to the swamp. Asking him, he said that there was a Spotted redshank.
沼のハスの群生地の所に小さいシギが餌を探しながら歩き回っていた。脚は水に隠れて見えなかったが頭部の特徴からツルシギと分かる。
A small snipe was walking in search of baits among lotus that grew in clusters in the pond. It was surely Spotted redshank from the characteristics of the head though the legs were hidden in the water.
この沼には多数のコブハクチョウが住み着いている。ツルシギはコブハクチョウの前を通り過ぎて行った。
