明るい月とマイナス2.6等の木星が並んだ, The bright moon and Jupiter lined up.
2025年12月8日、明るい月とマイナス2.6等の木星が並んだ。夜起きた時に望遠レンズで写真を撮った。月は特別大きいので明るい木星とは言え左下に小さく見える。写真を拡大してみると4つのガリレオ衛星が写っていて、確かに木星だと分かる。月と木星が一番接近して見えるのは東京の場合、12月8日の3時26分頃だそうです。
On December 8, 2025, the bright moon and Jupiter, with a magnitude of -2.6, lined up. I took a photo with a telephoto lens when I woke up that night. The moon is particularly large, so even though it’s bright, Jupiter appears small in the lower left. When I enlarged the photo, I could see the four Galilean satellites, and it was definitely Jupiter. Apparently, the closest the moon and Jupiter will appear to be in Tokyo is around 3:26 am on December 8th.
