日本で3年ぶりの皆既月食, A total lunar eclipse, the first in Japan in 3 years
2025年9月8日、「皆既月食」が起こりました。1時半頃から満月が欠け始め、2時半頃にかけて進行しました。
A total lunar eclipse occurred on September 8, 2025. The moon began to appear partially eclipsed around 1:30 AM, and the eclipse progressed until around 2:30 AM.

2時半頃になると皆既月食になりました。肉眼では暗くて良く見えません。望遠レンズを付けたカメラで写真を撮ると月全体が薄い赤紫色に写っていました。
Around 2:30 AM, a total lunar eclipse occurred. With the naked eye, the moon appeared very dim and difficult to see. However, when I took a picture with a camera equipped with a telephoto lens, the entire moon appeared as a pale reddish-purple color. (02:39, Sep 8, 2025)
3時頃になると皆既月食のため月は最も暗くなったようで、写真には濃い赤銅色の月が写っていました。地球の影の中心は月の中心より写真で右側にあるようで、月の左側がやや明るく見えます。
Around 3:00 AM, the moon reached its darkest point during the total lunar eclipse, appearing as a deep reddish-copper color in the photographs. The center of Earth’s shadow appears to be slightly to the right of the moon’s center in the image, causing the left side of the moon to appear slightly brighter. (02:56, Sep 8, 2025)
3時を過ぎると写真で左上から月は明るくなり始めました。月全体の色合いも薄い赤紫色になってきました。
After 3:00 AM, the moon began to brighten, starting from the upper left corner as seen in the photo. The overall color of the moon also turned to a pale reddish-purple. I ended my observation at that point and went to sleep. (03:14, Sep 8, 2025)
