千葉県立美術館訪問, Visit to Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art
いつものようにシニアボランティアの会の会議が終わってから千葉県立美術館を訪問しました。
開館50周年記念 PROJECT UMINOUE「五十嵐靖晃 海風」と美術市民団体の作品展示がありました。金曜日の午後4時半ごろだったのであまり観客はいませんでした。
As usual, I visited the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art after the Senior Volunteer Association meeting. There was an exhibition of works by the 50th anniversary opening commemoration project UMINOUE “Igarashi Yasuaki Sea Breeze” and art citizens groups. It was around 4:30pm on a Friday, so there weren’t many visitors.
PROJECT UMINOUEについて、次のように説明されていた：The following explanation was given about PROJECT UMINOUE:
本展は、「かつての海の上である埋立地に新たな文化をつくる」を基本コンセプトに、千葉みなとエリアを舞台として開催する美術展覧会です。
This art exhibition is being held in the Chiba Minato area with the basic concept of “creating a new culture on reclaimed land that was once on the sea.”
現代美術同様、説明を読まなければ何を表しているのか分かりませんでした。
As with modern art, it’s hard to understand what it represents without reading the explanation.
市民の美術愛好者は多いと思う。それぞれ思い思いに絵を描いている。写真もありました。
I think there are many art lovers among the locals. Each person is painting their own picture. There were also photos.
