オジロアシナガゾウムシ(Mesalcidodes trifidus)
小さいゾウムシがクズの葉の上にいた。胸の前半と前翅の後半が白、それ以外は黒とはっきり色分けされている。この模様は鳥の糞に擬態しているものといわれる。オジロアシナガゾウムシ(Mesalcidodes trifidus)のようだ。クズが食草だと言う。
A small weevil was on the kudzu leaf. The prothorax and the latter half of the forewing are white, and the rest is black. This pattern is said to mimic bird droppings. It looks like a white-tailed Chinese weevil (Mesalcidodes trifidus). They say that kudzu is food.
