ツマキチョウは、一般に東アジアに分布するが、日本でも見られることがある。Anthocharis scolymus, the yellow tip, is a butterfly in the subfamily Pierinae whose range is Eastern Asia where it is commonplace; occasionally it is found in Japan.

2020年3月21日に水元公園を散歩した時、ポピュラーなキチョウの他にツマキチョウも飛んできた。暖かくなった。
When I took a walk in Mizumoto Park on March 21, 2020, a Yellow tip came flying in addition to the popular common grass yellow. It has got warm.
