旧世界に広く分布するムシクイ類の小鳥セッカ, Zitting cisticola, a widely distributed Old World warbler.
2020年2月2日、用水路の橋の上でコミミズクが飛び始めるのを待っていると、近くの葦原にセッカが姿を見せた。
On February 2, 2020, while waiting for the short-eared owl on the irrigation canal bridge to begin flying, a Zitting cisticola appeared in a nearby reed bed.
セッカはすぐ葦の茂みに姿を隠したが、1時間位後にまた姿を見せた。セッカはスズメより小さい小鳥なので葦に軽々と止まる。セッカが2本の葦にまたがって止まる姿勢はなんとなくおかしい。
The zitting cisticola immediately hid in the reed bushes, but reappeared an hour later. Zitting cisticola is a small bird that is smaller than the sparrow, so it stops lightly on reeds. It is funny to see the zitting cisticola perching on two reeds with each foot on different stem.
